What is RTP?

Alright, dawgs, let’s talk slots. If you are a fan of slots, you should know what RTP is.

RTP means: Return to player. This percentage number basically represents how much money you can expect back from a slot machine.

Here’s a quick example: if a slot machine has an RTP of 90% (that’s a horrible percentage, but just roll with it), for every buck you spend on the slot, you should get back approximately 90c. That’s basically it. The higher the RTP, the more money you can expect. Now, it shouldn’t come as a surprise that these RTPs are just approximations. Meaning, you can definitely NOT get your 90cs back but, at the same time, you can get more than your buck.

Ok, I bet you are wondering about what a good RTP percentage is?

According to our broette Lilly, a good RTP is anything over 95-96%.
Something else that you should consider is: slots with high RTP will usually have smaller rewards than large ones. A buck here, a buck and a half there, and so on.

The opposite of high-RTP slots would be high-volatility slots. High volatility slots have a much lower RTP, meaning they can drain you out of your deposit before you know it.
However, there’s a small chance that maybe, just maybe, you might win the huge pot of gold that’s much nicer than almost anything you can win on high RTP slots.

That’s about it dawgs. If you are just playing slots for fun, you may as well go with the high RTP ones.
    Peace, dawgs.

Bro, it’s return-to-player percentage. A slot machine with an RTP of 96% means it’ll spill out 96 cents for every dollar put into it, on average.
